On a lovely sunny Saturday three keen orchid officiandos, drove to Shepparton Harness Raceway to view the spectacular ORCHID display from the Goulburn Valley Orchid Club. The displays and perfume were overwhelming, with all kinds of colours and types of orchids proudly on show. There was also lots of orchids for sale, with pots, soil and labels, available. There was a snack bar with scones, slices, pies and sandwiches with tea or coffee available to indulge. We sat and learnt how to mount an orchid to a board with very helpful tips from the speaker. Of course we then perused the sale tables for some lovely orchids, which we all bought some to make their way home with us. It was great to see people out and about after COVID restrictions had lifted. Some of the beautiful orchid photos below.
