• to encourage, educate & foster a love of & appreciation of gardens.

•  to stimulate an active interest in gardening, the development of home & public gardens & the beautifying of surrounding district.

• to provide a meeting place for gardeners & others interested in gardening, for mutual benefit & fellowship.

• to assist other local organizations in areas in which our society has specific expertise.

• to do other things as are incidental or conductive to the attainment of the objectives & the excercise of the powers of the association.

To enable the above objectives to be furthered or realised, the group will hold regular meetings at which lectures on general or specialised garden subjects are given & an opportunity is afforded for discussion of garden problems.
